Personal History:
I have had several doses of disphosphonate (I think that is what it's called) which were not effective. In November, I had surgery to have the affected bone shaved down because it was interfering with my nerves and the function of my hand and was becoming progressively worse. It seemed to be helpful for a few months but now the pain has returned to the same level as before the surgery and the bone did not heal and remains very fragile and painful.
I am looking for a doctor/surgeon in the Seattle area who knows about this disease that I can consult with and discuss other treatment options.
